Spider Hybrids are what happens when the Codex’s poison passes beyond the point of rescue. The victim’s original shape does not vanish all at once. It is dragged into something new, with human fear still visible inside an increasingly inhuman body.
That is what makes them unbearable to face. They are not monsters from somewhere else; they are friends, scouts, soldiers, and survivors caught mid-transformation. Their limbs, voices, and memories become evidence that the Web does not simply kill its enemies. It edits them.
