The Owlbear is a forest brute of beak, claw, feather, and muscle. It belongs to the wild places where the trees are older than roads and the ground remembers blood. Even untouched by the Web, it is a creature few warriors would willingly face.
In the world of Beneath The Web, the Owlbear represents nature before corruption: dangerous, territorial, and honest in its violence. It does not scheme, worship, or bargain. That makes it almost clean compared to the horrors below. But when war and corruption reach the forest, even honest beasts can become part of the nightmare.
